General Conference Weekend

We spent a fun weekend up in Heber with our cousins Katie and Carly. We were snowed in most of the weekend. The girls all had a great time playing, and we got to hear a few words of the prophet and apostles in between the screams and giggles.

Emmy and Katie helped make pink Easter egg rice krispie treats with sprinkles.

Emmy with her favorite Easter egg treat.
Katie didn't really care too much about the Easter egg treats. She just loved eating the sprinkles.
Uncle Bub was always good for a fun story!
Emmy and Katie snuggle in close to listen to the story.
We got to make a video call to Chile and talk to Grandma and Papa! The girls sang songs, showed off their bellies, and went down the slide just for Grandma and Papa. Technology is so amazing.
Let's talk about technology, ancient technology! Mike pulled out his original Nintendo and games one night. Aaron and Mike thought they were super hot stuff when they beat Contra. They stayed up way late trying to win games on a volleyball game. Video games have come a long way since 1984.
Aaron and Darin are watching conference. I just had to laugh at Aaron watching conference in his sunglasses because the sun was so bright in the living room.
The best thing about the snowy weekend is that Emmy and Aaron finally got to make a snowman. Emmy has been begging all winter to make one. It was the perfect snow. Aaron made the daddy size snowman, and Emmy made the little one that she affectionately called "Alison snowman".

YAY!! Looks like a fun filled weekend. I'm sorry we couldn't be there. Those girls are just getting so big. I can't believe Emmy and Katie, they are just little girls now. Glad you guys had fun.
