Rio Bueno

Our first day in Chile, we traveled to Rio Bueno with Ken & Susie. While they did interviews with the missionaries, we walked around the town. It was New Year's Day, so there were no people around. We had a great time checking out the town.

This is a manger scene that was displayed in the city center.
This is a typical Mapuche cart.
This is the national tree of Chile.

This is an elementary school in Rio Bueno.
These murals were painted on the wall behind the school.
We eventually found the old fort of Rio Bueno.

This is the view from the fort of Rio Bueno.

Yes, this is a dude in the back of a pick-up holding on to a stroller. We are pretty sure there was a kid in the stroller.
