Happy Birthday Bub!

Aaron is 31 years old today! He gets to spend his big day at work and then a priesthood meeting tonight. He doesn't seem to mind too much; he always says that it's just another day. Emmy made him a card and saved him some jelly beans from the Jelly Belly machine (The flavors she doesn't like of course.). I made his favorite cookies to take to work and share. We'll celebrate on Sunday with my family. Aaron and I got to go to 2 BYU men's basketball games this last month, so he feels like his birthday has been great!

Alison's New Talents

Alison loves to listen to music. She swings her arms side to side to dance along. I'm not really sure where she learned her super smooth dance moves.

She loves to play peek-a-boo. She is so cute to watch as she hides her eyes behind her little fingers and then says her own version of peek-a-boo.

Alison learned how to blow kisses. So if you ask her for a kiss, she will blow you a kiss. It is very sweet! She has always been a very snugly baby; she gives great loves and hugs.

Today, Alison was making Emmy and I laugh so hard. We were making cookies, and Alison kept snorting like a pig. So I pulled out the camera to catch her new talent in action. The camera is shaking because I was laughing so hard. She is still snorting now as she eats lunch. Funny kid.

5 Beautiful Girls

Weekend in Heber

We had a wonderful weekend in Heber. Emmy and Alison got to spend some great girl time with their 3 cousins Katie, Carly, and Sara. Emmy and Katie loved to ride the trike and scooter around the kitchen, race down the slide, play ponies, and dance! We also watched Horton Hears a Who with the girls on Sunday night. It was great fun to listen to them giggle. We feel so lucky to have such great fun with cousins.

Alison taking her naked baby for a walk. Alison learned how to say baby this weekend. She says "ba ba". She was always trying to get Sara's bottle and drink from it.

Baby Goats

Aaron and Uncle Mike took the girls to see the new baby goats at a friend's farm. The girls had a great time. Aaron said that Alison was going crazy with all of the animals to look at. He eventually put her down in some fresh straw and just let her crawl around. We were so surprised at how bad they smelled when they all got home. We stripped everyone down and washed all of their clothes and bodies immediately. Stinky!

First Steps

Alison did it! She took her first couple of steps yesterday. Tonight, she was more adventureous walking back and forth between Aaron and I. We got some cute little videos of her discovering that she is a 2 legged not 4 legged creature. She'll be running before we know it. :)
