Swing Set!
We finally bought a swing set for the backyard. It has warmed up here a bit, and the girls are loving their new toy. We have invited friends over to play and try out the new swing set. We are so excited for spring, summer, and all of the fun we will have in our backyard.

Go Cougars!
Aaron, Emmy, and I went to the BYU & Air Force game Saturday night March 7th. BYU won the game and a share in the Mountain West Conference Title with the win, but it was not their best performance. We were in the lower bowl which was awesome. It was great to actually see the players and game without having to watch the giant screens because the players look like ants running around. Emmy enjoyed the game, but not the noise. We had some ear plugs for her which helped a lot. She said she was ready to go to bed towards the end of the second half. I think next time we'll take her to an afternoon game. We hope the Cougars do well in the tournament this next week!

Please and Thank You
Since Alison turned one, we have worked on teaching her how to say Please and Thank You every Monday night in Family Home Evening. I pull out mini marshmallows or chocolate chips, and we sing our please and thank you song. Then, Emmy and Daddy model for Alison how to say please for the treats and thank you when they get one. Alison figured out "ank u" a couple of months ago, and we were so excited for her. She said her first "plee" a couple of weeks ago. We continue to practice the game each week for Alison; it's her part of Family Home Evening. Emmy loves the game and the free treats.
Alison has figured out the power of please. If she sees anything she wants, she knows she can get it if she says "plee, plee". I'm just so happy that she has a way to let me know when she wants something. Yesterday, she said "ess u" for bless you after she sneezed. She said it again this morning. She surprises us all the time with new words. It is really exciting.

Butterfly Girl
Here is a little video of Alison walking. She is fussing at me because I took her pacifier away from her trying to get her to walk towards me. She is happy again when I give it back to her. It has been so fun watching her learn how to walk.
