Bye Bye Binkie

We are on two days without binkie. Eve bit through the tip on her last binkie. So, she threw it in the trash, and she has been sleeping without it for two days. She goes to bed at night just fine without her binkie, but she does struggle with nap time; it took her 1.5 hours yesterday to finally fall asleep. I ordered some new binkies, but they came a day too late. But, I'm not going back. She's doing so well, and I don't want to start all over again later. She is a bit sad; she keeps looking in the trash can for her lost, broken binkie. We are so proud of her that she is doing so well. We are so happy to be binkie free!

New Words

Eve surprises us with new words almost everyday. Yesterday, she picked up Emmy's butterfly purse and said to me "backpack". She is now obsessed with purses and backpacks. She loves to carry them around and wear them. It is so great to hear her little voice and watch her learn new things.

Here are some of her other favorite words.
"colar" - color
"Alsin" - Alison
"Emmy" - Emmy
"Evee" - Eve
"What" - This is her reply whenever you call her name.
"Ok"
"buk" - Book
"I no no" - I don't know.
"Bum bum" - Diaper - usually a dirty diaper.
"Potty"
"Blakee" - Blanket
"No" - No
"lees" - Please
"Tak Oo" Thank You
"Nack" - Snack
"Quck quck" - All bird like creature.
"Mow mow" - All 4 legged creatures except for dogs.
"Woof Woof" - Dogs
"Papa" - All males in pictures. She does know which one is her papa when we show her pictures of him. This is amazing since she has never met him.
"yah" - yes
"ereal" - cereal

Signs of Spring

I love these little matching skirts. I had one for Emmy also, but she refused to wear it. No pink. I thought little Eve and Alison looked so cute in the pretty spring green. I tried taking some pictures of the girls on the front porch, but Alison didn't like the bright sun. They are funny pictures. I'm just so happy that the bright sun is shining these days!

Check out our beautiful spring flowers that are displaying their bright colors. We are so excited for warmer weather.
Happy Spring!

Promises

Emmy had a lesson in primary on Sunday about keeping promises. We wanted to get a picture of her with her "I Can Keep My Promises" shield. She looks so grumpy because she tripped over her own feet walking into the house and fell on the concrete. She was really upset, and she didn't want to smile for us. She is a very stubborn little girl. She is very good at keeping her promises. We sure do love her!

Eve's First Pigtails

I put Eve's hair into two little pigtails for church. She looked so cute. Her hair is so fine, and so very slow growing. I wonder if she won't have naturally curly hair. Her hair always curls right behind her ears. A few years ago when Aaron grew his hair out, we discovered that her daddy has curly hair. Maybe she will get lucky and have some body in her hair, unlike the rest of us girls.

So cute!

To Grandma's House We Go....

Thanks Grandma & Papa for the suitcases! The girls can hardly wait for you to come home so that they can pack up their suitcases and stay at your house for a visit.

Snow

Eve, Emmy, & Alison
A few weeks ago, we had a big snow storm on a Friday night. So, while Aaron shoveled the driveway, the girls went out to play in the snow and help daddy. This was Eve's first time playing in the snow. She had a great time. Now, when we have any snowflakes falling, she yells "no, no" for "snow, snow".

Ryan & Jennifer

Jennifer & Ryan
Aaron & Grandpa Sydenham
Uncle Steve, Josh, & Aaron
Nate, Karma, Kris, & Mark
Aaron's cousin Ryan Sydenham got married on Saturday, March 26th. It was a beautiful wedding. We had such a wonderful time attending the sealing, visiting with family, and spending the day together. My mom kept the girls for us the entire afternoon and evening so we could join all of the wedding festivities.
