Visit to Washington

In February, I got to head up to Bremerton, Washington to help my sister Kimberly with baby #3. Her husband is in Afghanistan until April. The grand plan was that I would be in Washington a few days before Kimberly's due date; I really wanted to be there for the birth. Well, sweet Blake decided to come two weeks early. I quickly booked a ticket trying to get there in time, but it was not to be. Mom went up in my place to help Kimberly in the hospital and her first couple of days home. Blake was a week old when I made it up to Washington.

It was great fun to help Kimberly with the kiddos and see a few cool places in Washington. I came home exhausted! It's been a little while since I've been up at night with a baby. I made a lot of freezer meals for Kimberly, I helped Kimberly with some projects around her house, and I even got some puppets made for primary.

Tiffany and Tate showed up 3 days before I had to go home. It was so much fun to all be together. We had a great time visiting, laughing, and eating great food. We got to visit Paulsbo and Seattle before I went home. We decided that we need to do more sister trips in the future except next time we need to work it out so that Emilie can go also.
