Six Little Girls That I Once Knew

Taking pictures of six little girls under the age of 5 is very interesting. Here's what we got for you Grandma & Papa. We sure miss you!

Thanks so much for the babies. They have been a huge hit. Emmy loves her "big girl" dolly. She sleeps with her every night. Alison has just loved her new baby, especially the binkie. She has started role playing with her new baby. She puts her to bed and reads to her. It is so much fun!

4 Months Old

Eve was 4 months old on January 1st. She is getting so big. We saw the doctor on Monday; she is off the charts now for her height. She slowed down a big on her weight. Tall and skinny, just like her big sisters.

Weight: 14 lbs 4 oz. - 80%
Height: 26 inches - 98%

Binkie Free

Alison finally dropped the pacifier. Hooray! A week before Christmas, Alison went to bed without the pacifier. She asked for it once, and we just said that binkie was gone. It took her a couple of hours to fall asleep, but she did it. We have been binkie free for more than 3 weeks now. Occasionally she will say "binkie back" and we just tell her that binkie is gone now. She seems to be okay with that. There were a few days Aaron and I really wanted to give her back her binkie so that she could get some good sleep, but we decided it wouldn't be worth starting all over later. It was rough those first few weeks, and she still struggles some days. She is getting better at soothing herself to sleep in other ways. It is so nice to be binkie free; we can see her cute little face all of the time, and she talks constantly now. It's fun to see her move out of the baby phase of life and become a little girl.
