Hiking in Settlement Canyon

Last Friday, we went on a picnic and hike in Millcreek Canyon in Salt Lake. The girls had a great time, so yesterday I thought I would take them to the canyon two minutes from our house for a little hike. Emmy happily carried the backpack with our snacks and juice boxes. She loves the hiking poles (ski poles) that Aaron found for her at DI. She is super hiker with those magic poles. Alison was a trooper. She held my hand and happily hiked along; it took us almost an hour and a half to make the loop. I didn't even have to whip out happy suckers until Emmy fell trying to cross the cattle guard. She started screaming, and then Alison started screaming because Emmy was crying. I just laughed, and Eve slept happily in the baby carrier, even through all of the screaming.

2 Weeks Today

Miss Eve saw the doctor today for her 2 week visit. She is 8 lb. 10 oz, so she is back to her birth weight and then some. She is a very easy baby during the day and evening so far, but she is showing some signs of colic. She is up every night between 12:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. screaming in pain. Aaron and I do the best we can to ease her pain and help her relax. My other girls did not have colic, so this is a new experience for me. We are doing the best we can. Here are some pictures we have taken in the last couple of weeks. Enjoy!

Hospital & Coming Home

Here are a few pictures of our stay in the hospital and packing up the 3 girls to come home.

Emmy was so excited to be a big sister again.

Yes this is a very scary picture of me, but I just love it because I'm with my girls.

Alison is now a big sister too!
Emmy loves to hold Eve. She asks me all day long if she can hold her sister.
We couldn't get over how small Eve is compared to the other girls.
Time to go home!
She is so tiny in her carseat.
When I took this picture, I thought, "I sure hope I'm ready for this!"
