Eve Plays
This morning I was getting ready for my music class. Eve came in and asked if she could "Play piano". She found a Bubble Hand and started singing and practicing. I thought it was so sweet.
3 Little Girls
It is amazing how much fun I have with my 3 little girls. They are always making me laugh, and I am amazed at their imaginations and incredible creativity. I'm also inspired by their spunk and joy over the simple things in life.
I changed Eve's diaper the other day. She ran out and hopped on the swing before I could get a new diaper and pants on her. Eve is my free spirit. She potty trained herself back in February, and she is now back in diapers. It's like she purposely decided to forget how to use the potty because she really doesn't care to know how to use the potty anymore. So, I could be upset and try and force her to wear panties. Then I would be cleaning up pee all the time. I've chosen to be okay with the situation and just let it go. I'm fine with her being in diapers again. I know that when she decides she's ready to wear panties again, she will go back to keeping panties dry again day and night without any problems. But, Eve has to decide that she wants it for herself.
For lunch the other day, I pulled out some whipped cream to dip strawberries in. The girls could hardly wait for the strawberries. They started dipping their fingers and hands into the whip cream. When I served them their lunch, they were dipping their sandwiches and chips in their also.
I just had to laugh. A little whipped cream with lunch won't hurt anyone. They had so much fun licking that white, yummy goodness of their fingers and food.
I love this picture. Looks can say a thousand words. Eve's saying "What?" Alison is saying, "Hey slow down, don't eat it all."
Somehow I have become the lawn mowing wife. I actually like to mow the lawn. It's a workout, and I think our yard looks so nice when it's mowed. Aaron gets home from work later in the evenings, and I would rather he spends that time with the girls and me, so I mow the lawn during the day.
Recently, Aaron took a lawn mowing day off of work. I mowed and he edged. The girls were following me around the yard as I mowed the lawn. Aaron got a few pictures of this funny moment. It was like mother duck and her little ducklings. I'm sure the neighbors chuckled at the sight.
We visited Great Grandma Davies a couple of weeks ago. I'm so grateful that my girls have been able to build a relationship with their great grandparents. They love to visit Grandma because she always has a treat to share.
The girls took me out to dinner for my birthday. We had such a great time.
Aaron took off work early and totally surprised us at dinner. He crept up to our table and scared me to death when he whispered in my ear, "How's dinner?" It was a wonderful birthday.
Alison still talks about the silly birthday song the employees sang to me. She thought it was so funny.

Birthday
I celebrated my 33rd birthday this last weekend. I got to celebrate with Addie; she is the daughter of my best friend. We actually celebrated our birthdays together 8 years ago when she turned 1 and I turned 25. Time sure does fly by. We had a great dinner with friends and family. We played some fun games. It was a wonderful evening.
My mom and sister made these awesome cupcake cakes for our birthdays. They turned out so great.
We had quite the crew. I am so grateful for my wonderful family and friends. They make my life so meaningful.
Blowing out the candles!
Yummy!

10 Year Anniversary
Back in May, Aaron and I celebrated our 10 year Anniversary. Aaron surprised me and took me back to the place we stayed in Park City when we got married. It was so fun to stay there again and reminisce.
We don't seem to do anything without a fun story. We were getting ready for a hike, and Aaron bit down on a Dot candy wrong. He lost a crown. We frantically tried to find a dentist office open; we found one that gave him some temporary cement. I felt so bad for Aaron he was in pain.
Park City
Aaron went to Brazil a few months earlier, so he wanted to take me to this Brazilian restaurant. The food was really good. Wish I could have gone to the real Brazil!
I loved going back to wear we stayed when we got married.
