During mission transfers, Aaron and I took a bus over to Bariloche, Argentina for a couple of days. We had a great time exploring a small bit of Argentina.
We got tickets on a double decker bus. The ride out went smoothly. Going through customs was a very interesting experience; I'm glad we don't have to go through customs when we travel from state to state. They gave us each a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch. Then the bus host gave each person a Styrofoam cup for a drink. He came around with a 1.5 liter of Pepsi and gave us each a cup full. It was hilarious.
They say that you don't really know a place until you shop at their grocery stores. I believe that is true. Here's Aaron with our cart basket. We bought water and treats. Yummy! It is so much fun to try out treats in a new place.

We took a local bus up to Mt. Otto. It was a very full bus, and we loved it. It reminded me so much of riding buses in Costa Rica.

Heading back to Chile. We had the front row seats on the way back to Chile; I got so car sick. I'm so glad that we went to Argentina. It was such a great adventure.
While we were in Ancud, we went on splits with the missionaries. I got to spend the evening with Hermana Nava from Mexico. It was so wonderful to be a missionary again. We got to teach two great discussions. I had a wonderful time. Susie spent the evening with Hermana Larkin.

Ping pong was everywhere. Aaron had a great time playing ping pong with the missionaries and his mom. He's wishing that we had ping pong tables in the chapels here in the States.
These are some wonderful young ladies that have been baptized in the last couple of years. Ken and Susie are good friends with these girls and their families. We got to spend the day at the beach with them. It was so much fun to get to know them better.

These are the 5 great missionaries that went home while we were in Chile.
We got to go to the bus terminal and see them off to Santiago. The missionaries go to Santiago so that they can attend the temple before they head home. It was a great experience to go to the bus terminal and see them off. Several member families and other missionaries came to see them leave.
